1: Noosa Headland National Park Walk

Have kids with buckets of energy to burn? This spectacular walk is one for you! Whilst you can begin the trek at either end of the headland, we recommend starting at Sunshine Beach and embarking on a lush, green four hour walk that passes Hells Gate, Alexandra Bay, and Granite Bay to finish at Hasting Street where you can watch the sunset with a glass of wine in hand as the kids let loose on the beach.

2: Noosa Aquatic Centre – The Inflated Obstacle Course

The product of every 8 to 16 year olds dreams, or perhaps everyone’s dream! The inflatable obstacle course at Noosa Aquatic Centre is open for business every day from 12- 3pm and is the perfect excuse to get the family together for a splash of fun. Noosa Aquatic centre also has a cafe and BBQ facilities available for your use, just don’t forget a towel.

3: Fairy Pools

Love exploring the unbeaten track? Midway along the Noosa Headland walk, you can scramble down the rocks near Granite Bay to find the ‘Fairy Pools’. These natural tidal pools are home to three different types of coral and numerous crustaceans. If you catch the pools on a good day, at low-mid tide, you’re in for a relaxing break along your big walk.

4: Rooftop Cinema in Cooroy

If Friday evening creeps up and you have no plans, grab the family and head to Cooroy Roof Top Cinema for a screening of the awesome Lego Movie. This family favourite kicks off at 6:30pm and is entry by donation.

5: Cooloola Great Sandy National Park

Pack the car and head north for a day trip to the towering sand dunes at Cooloola National Park. Obtaining a permit through the local National Parks office will cost you $11.75 and you can spend the whole day exploring the beach, sand-boarding down the sand dunes and trying you hand at catching some fish for your family dinner.

6: Skateboard Deck Art Class

Need to get the kids out of your hair and put your feet up? Every Friday at the Noosa Regional Gallery well-renowned street artist, Kasper, runs a skateboard design and paint studio for those between the age 7 and 15. At just $18 with the deck included, this is a fun way to spend the evening!

7: Jew Shoal Dive Spot

Want to experience the world beneath the ocean? Ask the friendly reception staff at Seahaven Noosa about the Jew Shoal Dive site. You can swim with turtles, discover what lies beneath the surface, swim through caves and canyons, and experience hundreds of coral species in their natural habitat.
