Noosa Long Weekend Family Itinerary

Come help Noosa celebrate their 15th year of literature, theatre, music and dance at the Noosa Long Weekend Festival this July. The 10 day festival is sure to have something for everyone! The team at Seahaven Noosa have created a fool proof itinerary so you and your family can enjoy the best of the festival!

Friday 15 July

Kick start your Noosa Long Weekend Festival with a vibrant parade on Noosa’s iconic Hastings Street. This free family event will be sure to excite the kids with circus performers, dancers, jugglers and music that is sure to get everyone grooving. After the carnival, grab a bite to eat at Zachary’s Gourmet Pizza Bar- the best pizza on the Sunshine Coast.

What: Carnival Infusion + Superhero Spectacular

When: 5:15pm - 6:15pm, Friday 15 July

When the sun sets, head to Locale After Dark, where you can enjoy terrific entertainment, food and beverages. Unwind after a big day of sun, sand and carnivals to an exciting burlesque performance by International Burlesque Performer Sunday Lucia. Make sure you book a table so you don’t miss out!

Saturday 16 July

Treat the kids to a magnificent magic show by the one and only Nickleby the Magician, for guaranteed family fun. Make your way to the Noosa Civic to watch The Magic Chef show before grabbing some lunch and hitting the shops for a fun day out.

Sunday 17 July

Bring the kids down to Noosa Bicentennial Community Centre for free acting workshops by Acting and Audition Coach, Xanthe Coward. Learn the do’s and don’ts of acting, as well as learning how to make a great first impression at auditions. Xanthe has designed two workshops which will be available for 9-14 years old and 15-18 years old. Be sure to book your kids a spot by registering at the Noosa Long Weekend Festival Website.
