Noosa Woods
Head towards the end of Hastings Street you’ll end up at Noosa Woods. Here you’ll find picnic tables and barbecues, spaced out nicely so you feel like you’ve got your own private area. Located on the banks of the Noosa River, this place is also perfect for taking a dip on these hot summer days.
Noosa Spit
Further down from Noosa Woods you’ll find the Noosa Spit. Here there are a couple of picnic tables, perfect if you’ve got a picnic ready to go with nothing needing to be cooked. This is also a perfect place to watch the sun set and is dog friendly so you can bring your four legged friend along!
Noosa River
Noosa River is a very popular place for people wanting to spend their weekends or afternoons by the river. All along the river you can find multiple barbecue sites as well as covered and un-covered picnic tables. It’s best to get in early to secure your spot though as they go quickly!
Noosa Lions Park
At the bottom of Noosa Hill, just before you enter Hastings Street you’ll find Noosa Lions Park. This is a great central spot with a couple of barbecue options, picnic tables and heaps of grassed area to kick a ball or let the kids run around as you relax into the afternoon.
